Cayenne Butter-Scotch/Caramel Whoopies!

There is nothing like that fresh morning baked chocolate aroma, flooding the senses with 'OMG', what just happened!  These little dudes are damn tasty.  So, do the normal baking thang, eggs, milk, flour, baking soda etc., ...then splash a note of cayenne, salt, pepper, and cinnamon.  Use a scooping device or roll into balls.  Use a mix of salted butter/EVOO, just enough to cover baking pan.  Bake @ a 375 temp until they rise and the toothpick comes out clean.  It is ok to buy some whipped cream, but it is easily made, check below. Hold the phone...spoon on or top off with some butter-scotch-caramel!

  1. Place mixer bowl and whisk in the freezer for at least 20 minutes to chill.
  2. Pour heavy whipping cream, sugar and vanilla into the cold bowl and whisk on high speed until medium to stiff peaks forms, about 1 minute.
  3. Do not over beat.
